Da Buddha Vaporizer Review

Da Buddha VaporizerDa Buddha vaporizer is a cylinder-shaped vape a little less than a foot in height. Clearly, it wins the title for best vaporizer name. It is manufactured in the U.S. by 7th Floor, LLC, the same company that makes the Silver Surfer vaporizer. 7th floor provides a generous 3-year warranty on the housing unit and all electrical parts.

Like the Vapolution, the Da Buddha vaporizer uses ground glass to separate your herb from the heating element. The heating element itself warms up quickly – within 2-3 minutes. Your herbs are placed into a glass wand, which is then connected to the main vaporizer unit. Conveniently, the wand locks into place, so there’s no danger of it falling out while you are high.

The Da Buddha vaporizer comes with some cool paraphernalia, such as the cushion-like protective case which can be used to carry it around. In the words of one user, “If you get all fucked up and want to have a snooze, the case makes a great pillow.”

Da Buddha Vaporizer User Reviews

The Da Buddha vaporizer has earned quite a following in the vaping community. This vape has solid construction and an adjustable analog temperature knob.  It may take a couple tries to find the ideal setting, but afterwards it functions just as well as a unit with a digital temperature display. The best temperature setting for the Da Buddha is between 1/2 and 3/4 of full power. Don’t set it too high – at the max power, some users have seen their material combust.

Many users praised the cushioned bag the comes with the Da Buddha vaporizer:

“I’ve had my DBV for about three days now, and I am very pleased with my first impression. It came packed away in its own cushioned bag. The bag is amazing, it’s super cushioned with a plush interior and a relatively inconspicuous burlap exterior. It has little compartments inside for the glass and tubing and zips up to hold the vaporizer very snug.”

The vaporizer comes shipped with a glass wand and plastic tubing for inhaling. These work fine on their own, but some users have found they prefer water filtration:

You can use water filtration by simply hooking the plastic tube up to a water pipe, and using that instead of the simple glass mouthpiece provided.

Another use had some advice on how to maximize your vaping experience:

The best efficiency is achieved with small amounts. Unfortunately it’s no fun to load just a pinch in the DBV and get a small hit or two. So load an amount that’ll give you some nice hits, and go ahead and see what it can do. For best efficiency, take hits you can hold without instantly exhaling.
The consensus opinion is that the DB is a lo-tech, high quality vape from a reliable manufacturer, at a very reasonable price. The Da Buddha is actually $80 less than the Silver Surfer vaporizer, which is made by the same manufacturer. To compare the two, check out Amazon: Da Buddha Vaporizer.
